Wallbrook Ranked in Top 5% of B Corps for Employee-Friendly Policies
Ownership opportunities, job flexibility, and fair-chance hiring at heart of recognition
Wallbrook, the global investigations, intelligence and ESG consulting firm, is proud to be included on B Lab’s 2021 “Best for the World” list, of the top 5% rated B Corps for our employee friendly policies.
Already the sector’s only certified B Corp, B Lab states that Wallbrook’s ranking in the top 5% for workers shows “best practices in compensation, benefits, training and ownership opportunities”, as well as working communication, job flexibility, worker health, and fair chance hiring policies.
Wallbrook’s uniquely independent structure – 100% employee ownership with no single majority shareholder and over two-thirds of staff owning shares or options in the business – was a key factor in achieving this recognition.
James Hunt, a London-based Managing Partner with Wallbrook, commented: “It is particularly satisfying to earn this recognition in 2021, after a tumultuous year during which companies have been compelled to adapt to evolving workplace norms, and their resultant treatment of staff has rightly been under the spotlight. This recognition underscores the degree to which we value all of our stakeholders, but most importantly our employees.”
Jake Lipton, a Partner with Wallbrook in New York, commented that “We are thrilled that B Lab has recognized us for what we believe is core to our success as a firm: how we treat our staff. As a professional services organization, we understand that the quality of our work is dependent on the calibre of our people. We believe that challenging our employees with meaningful and ethical work while incentivizing them to grow their careers with us is the most equitable way to build a modern global investigations firm.”
