To ensure Wallbrook is able to offer a compliant and secure service to its Swiss clients it is incorporated in Switzerland as Wallbrook GmbH
HISTORY
Our team’s presence in Switzerland dates back to 2015, when we began providing multi-jurisdictional enhanced due diligence to Swiss private banks, at the time as part of Stroz Friedberg GmbH. Our Swiss team worked alongside other business lines – including electronic discovery, cyber security and forensic accounting – to develop one of the only investigations boutiques of its kind in a market classically dominated by the “Big Four” professional services firms.
In 2018, Wallbrook was established as an independent firm. Committed to our Swiss banking clients, we maintained our presence in Switzerland and incorporated Wallbrook GmbH as our local subsidiary.
PHYSICAL PRESENCE
Wallbrook prides itself in being one of the very few international firms in our sector with a physical presence in Switzerland. Our office is on Bleicherweg, at the heart of Zurich’s financial center. Any confidential request from our Swiss clients is handled directly by our Zurich staff. All data shared with our local employees is stored on Swiss servers and is inaccessible to the rest of the firm. This means any requests do not require the expense or time of an intermediary law firm.
DATA PROTECTION
Data protection is a core element of our business and complying with Swiss banking secrecy regulations is a natural component of this. Our Swiss IT set-up does not, however, prevent us from benefitting from our firm’s international expertise. Wallbrook operates as one global team, guaranteeing the best people with the most appropriate investigative and linguistic skill sets are allocated to each assignment while ensuring all sensitive data pertaining to Swiss clients remains in Switzerland.
