Su is an Associate in Wallbrook’s Human Rights practice, where she specialises human rights due diligence, on-the-ground research, capacity building and risk advisory.

Su’s recent experience ranges across FMCG, manufacturing, finance and agriculture. She recently led research on Human Rights Due Diligence and impact assessment projects in sectors including West African cocoa and Eastern European chemicals manufacturing. As part of these assignments, Su conducted in-depth research and interviewed rightsholders to identify and assess human rights risks, and made actionable mitigation recommendations to clients. Alongside research, Su is passionate about increasing awareness on responsible business conduct across audiences, and has delivered Business and Human Rights trainings audiences ranging from SMEs in the Malaysian electronics sector to private equity firms in the City of London.

Prior to joining Wallbrook, Su interned at the United Nations Development Programme Turkey office where she worked on large industrial development projects with refugee integration, gender equality, and labour rights components. Previously, Su worked for a Turkish public health NGO aiming to increase HIV/AIDS awareness and litigate against workplace discrimination, and interned with the Turkish Red Crescent.

Su holds a master’s degree in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge, and a bachelor’s degree in Political Humanities from SciencesPo Paris. As part of her master’s degree, Su researched the implementation of human rights-based sexual health frameworks in Guatemala. She has also studied at the Johns Hopkins University. She speaks fluent Turkish and French, and intermediate Spanish.
