Nishant Kurup is a Senior Associate in Wallbrook’s Dubai office, where he focuses primarily on strategic intelligence, integrity due diligence, and investigative assignments in India and the wider South Asia region.

Nishant has close to a decade of experience and has worked with leading private equity funds, financial institutions and corporations across sectors, including metals and mining, oil and gas, real estate, aviation and technology. His experience includes strategic intelligence assignments, supply chain and procurement fraud investigations, employee misconduct investigations, asset traces, and a wide range of third-party and investigative due diligence assignments.

Prior to joining Wallbrook, Nishant worked with a global consulting firm in India, where he focused on intelligence-driven assignments in multiple jurisdictions across South Asia. One of his core roles at the firm was managing a long-term intelligence gathering engagement for a multinational conglomerate in the natural resources sector, focusing on key strategic, operational and integrity risks across 30+ locations of the conglomerate in India. Nishant began his career with a Big 4 in India, where he gained extensive experience in third-party due diligence. He is skilled at leveraging open-source research to trace beneficial ownership and identify key issues of potential concern.

Nishant is an Economics Graduate from the University of Delhi and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
