Nayantara is a Senior Analyst in Wallbrook’s Hong Kong office. She supports Wallbrook’s Southeast Asia business intelligence and due diligence practice, with a particular focus on Indonesia. 

Nayantara began her career in tech and startup journalism with a Hong Kong-based print magazine and startup incubator where she became the editor-in-chief, guiding content strategy and supporting projects across the company’s remit. Through her work there, she produced stories on topics ranging from consumer retail technology to the ethics of A.I. defence systems and U.S. whistleblower law, liaising with government representatives, investors, high-net-worth individuals, and executives at some of today’s biggest tech companies.

She then entered the risk advisory sector as an editor with a Hong Kong-based business intelligence firm, where her assignments ranged from in-depth pre-transaction advisory work to large-scale pre-IPO projects. Her work has covered sectors including mining, renewables, high net worth Asian families, and data centres, across Southeast Asia, India, North America, and Greater China. 

Nayantara holds an undergraduate degree in journalism and economics from the Journalism and Media Studies Centre at The University of Hong Kong. Her final project was an in-depth exploration of women's presence and role in the venture capital sector in Asia.
