Gus Gillespie is a Senior Associate in Wallbrook’s London office, where he sits on the MENA team within the firm’s business intelligence practice.
Prior to joining Wallbrook, Gus spent two and a half years as an analyst at a London-based business intelligence firm. Gus worked predominantly within the firm’s due diligence practice, conducting a range of complex pre-transaction and source of wealth investigations on behalf of clients including multinational investment banks, private wealth managers and development financial institutions. He also has experience in litigation support work, having assisted on multi-jurisdictional asset tracing projects.
Gus previously worked at the Risk Advisory Group, where he worked in the political risk-focused Intelligence & Analysis team. In this role, he carried out OSINT research into the activities of terrorist organisations globally, with a focus on the MENA and Sub-Saharan Africa regions.
Gus holds an integrated Master’s degree in Arabic and Islamic Studies from the University of Exeter. He spent over a year studying in Amman, Jordan, and speaks Arabic.
