Dmitry Petrunin is a Senior Associate in Wallbrook’s FSU team, with particular expertise in the pharmaceutical, private banking and telecommunications sectors.

Prior to joining Wallbrook, Dmitry worked as a Research Associate at the Risk Advisory Group, where he was part of the Russia, Eastern Europe and Eurasia desk. While there, Dmitry managed numerous investigations, often on behalf of private equity clients. As a fluent French speaker, he has also undertaken projects in Switzerland and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Prior to his career in consulting, Dmitry worked as a Paris-based freelance journalist for over six years. As a journalist he covered current events across France and his native Russia, including for The New York Times and Le Figaro.

Dmitry completed his studies at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University in Paris. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English and translation and a master’s degree in Irish history.
