Diana Diaz-Valdes Teran is a senior analyst in Wallbrook’s London office. She sits in the firm’s business intelligence practice with a focus on Latin American and the Iberian Peninsula.
Prior to joining Wallbrook, Diana worked as an analyst at another London-based intelligence and cyber-security consultancy for two years. She predominantly worked on OSINT and HUMINT-led complex pre-transactional due diligence, source of wealth, and integrity investigations in Western Europe and Scandinavia. She was also one of the main contributors to the firm’s monthly ESG bulletin.
Prior to her career in business intelligence, Diana worked in the legal sector and in research and publishing across the UK, China, and Spain. She was also a paralegal for three and a half years at a London-based boutique, where she handled Spanish-language work alongside one of the two founding partners of the firm.
Diana holds a bachelor’s degree in social and Cultural Anthropology from the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), in Spain; and a master’s degree in Human Rights from the University of Oslo, in Norway. During her last year at the UAM, Diana was commissioned to design a strategic plan for Madrid’s Institute of Anthropology. During her master studies, Diana spent three months running seminars about minority rights issues at the Faculty of Law of Yunnan University, in China.
Diana is a native Spanish speaker with working proficiency in Portuguese, French and Italian.
