Daniel is a Senior Associate in Wallbrook’s New York office. Since joining in 2019, Daniel has conducted numerous investigations across a wide range of jurisdictions, including the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, and India. These have ranged from assisting a private equity firm with uncovering the criminal history of a potential investment target to detailing the careers and track records of New York City real estate developers for a credit investment firm. Daniel has also written scores of high-level background checks into prospective joint venture partners, C-suite executives, and other business partners.
In addition, Daniel works closely with Wallbrook’s donor diligence practice to help US universities and cultural institutions navigate the reputational risks presented by prospective benefactors and partners.
Previously, Daniel spent two years as a senior accounting associate at Stroz Friedberg, where he provided accounting services to the firm’s diligence and investigations business unit.
Daniel holds a bachelor’s degree in history and German studies from New York City’s Fordham University. He has also completed graduate-level coursework in accounting at the City University of New York Baruch College. Daniel has a limited working proficiency in German and Spanish.
