Clara Ruiz is an Associate in Wallbrook’s New York office, where she primarily conducts compliance and integrity due diligence research on US and Canadian subjects.

Before joining Wallbrook, Clara spent two years at Teachers College, Columbia University, where she provided academic research and database support to faculty members and students. In addition, she sourced rare and out-of-print materials for the university. Previously, she was a legal assistant at a boutique New York City law firm, and a clerk at Fordham University’s Walsh Library.

Clara holds an honors bachelor’s degree in German language and literature with a minor in English from New York’s Fordham University. She received a scholarship from US Congress and the German Bundestag, as part of which she lived and studied in Germany for a year. In addition to English and German, Clara has working proficiency in Spanish.
