Carissa is a Senior Analyst at Wallbrook’s Hong Kong office, where she supports clients on integrity due diligence and business intelligence projects in Asia Pacific with a focus on Greater China.
Carissa began her career in public policy and telecommunications with an industry association, where she oversaw and guided a memorandum of understanding with the Pacific Island Nations, resulting in a one-year partnership to raise awareness for digital literacy. She then entered the risk advisory sector as a research associate with a business intelligence firm. Her assignments ranged from due diligence work to large-scale country analyses. Her work was multi-sectoral and covered finance, real estate, technology, and energy across the Asia Pacific region.
Carissa holds an undergraduate degree in politics and governance from the Toronto Metropolitan University. During this time, she was a fellow at the Internet Society, where she developed a final project on empowering women’s use of mobile internet technology in the Pacific Islands. She is currently a part-time candidate for the Master of Laws in Arbitration and Dispute Resolution at the City University of Hong Kong and a recipient of the University Grants Committee Targeted Taught Postgraduate Programmes Fellowship Scheme.
Carissa is a native Cantonese and fluent Mandarin speaker. She also has working proficiency in Spanish and basic proficiency in Korean.
